AIM Luncheon

18 Jan 2018 | 11:00 am

Springfield Lutheran School is hosting the Aim Luncheon on Thursday, January 18, 11:00 am. We are planning for fried chicken as our entrée and please bring a side dish! We will have the pleasure of listening to local speaker, adventurer and all around talented former teacher, Larry Campbell. He will be speaking on the history and highlights of the Missouri River. Sign up on the sheet at the information desk and bring a friend. Our 6th, 7th and 8th graders will also be attending.

Rollin’ on the River
Larry Campbell completed a 45-day exploration adventure on the Missouri River (by car) from Three Forks, MT (the official source of the River) to its confluence with the Mississippi near West Alton (near St. Louis and St. Charles), MO.
The general plan for the Missouri River Trip is to go roughly 100 miles every 2 days. (I’ll end up in a couple dozen places). Along the way, I’ll be taking pictures (no surprise!), exploring, visiting with locals, finding new historic sights, etc. And I’ll be sharing those with all of you on Thursday, January 18.
